「JISSO PROTEC 2008」　38th International Electronic Circuits Exhibition

MINAMI products were exhibited in their booth at “JISSO PROTEC 2008” held in Tokyo International Exhibition Center for the period between June 11 ? June 13, 2008. PROTEC is the only exhibition dedicated for the surface mount technology (SMT), where all the mounter makers meet at one place.

MINAMI exhibited “MK-888SV(LL)”, “MK-888SV(L)” and “MK-888SV(L) for SMT together with the printers for semiconductor application such as “MK-3000” and “MKR-1200”.

The product which especially attracted attention was “MK-888SV(M) Multi-alignment type”, and the demonstration of the technology developed for printing while recognizing the ceramic substrate shape caught the interest of many visitors. In the case of a board on which various types of components, including 0402 chip component, bump terminal parts, super fine pitch device, general purpose parts and large sized SMD, are mounted, mounting reliability is heavily dependent on the printing quality of the solder paste. “MK-888SV(LL)” enables printing of two stage solder thickness by use of a specially designed mask and the rotary squeegee.

In addition, the solder ball mounting on the wafer is made possible by “MK-3000”, and the voids in the bumps can be minimized by adopting the local vacuum application in the reflow process by “MKR-1200”.

At the exhibition this time, it was possible to introduce Minami technologies to a large number of visitors with the help of an “Activity Corner” where the know-how of the “screen printers” developed by Minami was being presented. Moreover, a large number of visitors participated in the seminar conducted by Mr. Murakami, the president of Minami, held on the first day of the exhibition explaining on Rotary Squeegee, Air Pressurizing System, etc. ? the technologies developed by Minami.
